This reads like a list of excuses. As a publication you have been (and always should be) held accountable for the content you publish. I contribute to several publications and if a piece I write is not up to their standards, guess what? It's not accepted. Period.

Publications need to hold their writers accountable for their content and encourage them to submit the best written pieces. If a piece has too many errors, the answer isn't to hire on more editors, but to not accept an article for publication.

The fact you have accepted numerous fluff pieces from one writer who directly attacked me and my writing, shows me that you and your editors do not care about the quality of your content.

Reading through this non-apology made me realize you're more about quantity than you are about quality.
